The purpose of this group is to assist women who join the ASV to connect with other women who are interested in and participate in astronomy.

It is an excellent way for women to help each other, share their knowledge and ideas, and voice any concerns or issues they might have in a safe environment.

It is also be a good way for women who might not feel comfortable attending section meetings, events, or LMDSS by themselves to find out which other women might be attending.
