The Astronomical Society of Victoria will host a night under the stars at one of Victorias most stunning natural wonders. Lake Tyrrell is a shallow, salt-crusted depression in the Mallee district of north-west Victoria, in Australia. The name 'Tyrrell' is derived from the local Wergaia word for 'sky'. It is a renowned location for photographers and the perfect location to observe the wonders of the universe. The ASV will have volunteers on hand with telescopes set up for attendees to view through. You will see planets, nebula, star clusters and galaxies galore! Book now as tickets to these events are strictly limited.
